Speaking of Ape is like speaking of an Italian story, the brainchild of a brilliant aeronautical engineer, Corradino d'Ascanio, and the fruit of Enrico Piaggio’s far-sightedness over half a century ago. An undying legend that has gone through and somewhat punctuated the crucial events of the history of Italy since the years after the Second World War up to now.

Starting from the very first Ape (1948) launched when reconstruction was in full swing to Ape C in the period of the economic boom in Italy to the futuristic Ape Pentarò, with as many as 5 wheels, in the early Sixties, to Ape Car, the queen of the Seventies. Then, Ape TM designed in 1982 by Giorgetto Giugiaro through to today’s models, such as Ape Cross, specially developed for the young. A long journey through the lives of generations that has made Ape extraordinarily popular and deeply loved. Unique and unrivalled, Ape has remained faithful to itself, even through so many models and never-ending changes, and is always ready to offer its precious help without, as one might say in jest, ever taking a day off.
